Author's Notes:

Originally this scene was going to be along the river, but it turns out there aren’t any warehouses with river access that far south. This industrial part of Chicago grew along of the railroad, well after the river ceased to be a primary source of transportation. All shipping now goes through the Port of Chicago further south along the Indiana border.

Panel Five: Mike and Kate, still looking around with guns at the ready.
