That would explain why some of the dialogue is different when Kate woke up from the first dream.

like transferable werewolfism that be cool:P,but i think id have to go with a dream after a dream thing!
Lycanthropy is transfereable, all it takes is a bit and the victim actually surviving the attack.

Not exactly what I expected…which, coincidentally, is exactly what I expect from this story by now! Nice twist, can’t wait for the next one.
Very nice flow, especially like the placement of the headlight of the car in the second to the last panel behind Kate’s head in the last panel

I think he’ll keep the 30-45 seconds it’ll take for her to HYPER-MURDER each and every one of those agents, then get back for a ‘blood transfusion’ that will make worrying about your average bullet wound a thing of the past.
There will be coplcations with that therory. One the blood types are diffrent. Two its a fedeal experament drug gone wrong. And three the consaquences of putting that blood in to someone else is severe, If not fatail. Any way Mike will be long dead from blood loss if she tryed to kill all of them. Not to mention losing your mind and humanity in the process.
Pointed ears on that one “agent”? or maybe just exaggerated…but I’m strongly suspecting this is another nightmare. Mind you, it’s been awhile since I read that first chapter but I don’t remember many elves.
Though, maybe I should go back and make sure.
They’re the same ones who chased her, right? The pointy eared one had his/her face smashed through a window, I think. Also they popped in the earlier dream as well, the pointy ears one and the fellow in the second panel with the gun up. Dunno about the others, but I know for sure those two did…
oh crap….
Though I do have to agree with Oraxia about the headlights from one panel and the placement of Kate’s head in the next.

Anyhow, been keeping track of this webcomic, the art is awesome, the story is intriguing, and you just killed off the second protagonist.
Yeeeeaaaahh, my guess is that it’s a “dream-within-a-dream” scenario too.
I dunno, the agent with the ears kinda reminds me of Eddie Munster…
I would suggest that Kate can not only see events in the past but also events in the future. Perhaps some werewolf power of being able to sense the near future. In a few pages Kate will probably wake up the same way. Instead of going out the front door though Kate and Mike will leave out through a window or something. This would help explain why Mike would have a stolen car on page 124.
This is my first comment so I would like to thank Dirk Tiede for his excellent artwork and a truly intriguing story.
Kind of like how Cage did in the movie Next?
Nightmare? Reality? Or Prophecy?
I vote nightmare within a nightmare, but that’s just me. Seeing tidbits of the past where things could have gone all wrong is quite a common sort of occurrence. Or maybe Kate’s sub-conscience is warning her that she’s gonna get him killed protecting her.
Also, I think the artist likes the ‘Eddie Munster’ Agent *dubs him/her’Eddie’ until further notice*

leaving all actual conjecture aside (except a vote for exceptional mystic kung-fu based healing factors
), my main responses are “ooh, page 8 cliffhanger!” and “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” (< repeat several times)
+1 to oraxia's observation, and maybe damien's too. After all the two strains (PS-type weres and Jagers) have a similar conceptual origin story. Though going by the hair and various other appearances, I'm going to call male on agent bat-features.
Also, why do you think they ended up walking thru the wrong side of town to buy a stolen car…
These people know about werecreatures, and either ARE the people who turned Kate or are worked FOR them.
When hunting a creature of such power, it would be idiotic to use only mortals. I bet ‘Eddie’ is some sort of were on the verge of transformation. It would explain how those agents had been able to keep up with Kate.

Now that I look at the gunshot wounds, I am of the opinion that they are not instantly fatal. The 2 in the upper chest are far enough to either side that it is conceivable that at least one of his lungs were missed. And the lower one might clip his left lung or be a high gut-shot.
While death by these wounds won’t be instantaneous (well, I am not doctor, so this is all get speculation, correct me if I’m wrong), it would be a suckie way to die. On the bright side, it buys time for EMT work.
Well, it looks like Kate is having a nightmare. Now for the sixty-four dollar question:”Is she going to transform in the car while Mike is driving?!”
Naw, it’s a retcon! She’s going to turn him into a wolf so that he’ll survive.

I feel I should point out that if this isn’t a dream then the entire end of book 3 has been thrown out the window, not likely.
My biggest question is, as already asked, ‘is she going to wake up as a wolf’?
I’m thinking she will wakeup odd looking in a hotel room but you never know.
I have to say, you did something very clever with the layout. I really like the glow from the headlight doubling as the effect of Kate’s shock around her head in the last panel. That was brilliant!
If it is not a dream then read the words in the **. *gets in to position and starts snipeing the’agants’ with head shoots from the sprigfeald rifle.*
My bet she’s going to wake up in a panic and accidentally punch out the windshield of the car.
Speaking from personal experience that’s actually surprisingly easy to do when trying to hit a fly.
it’s so you don’t break your neck if you have an accident without a seatbelt, hard to break from the outside, easy from the inside. My mother took a cracked windshield to the garage and the mechanic looked at her and at the crack and said”Did you do this?” she said “No, my son” and he said “ah, know how? ” “No” “I’ll show you.” Mechanic sits in the drivers seat, sighs, and says “You B*****” as he punches the windshield. My brother had to admit to having had an argument with his girlfriend. Apparently a lot of young men do it, once.
Wounded, his zen mind control loses it’s grip upon the inner beast he has kept locked away these many years…
I wondered why he was nowhere near as freaked out as he should have been when she wolfed out on him.

I am fairly confident that the slender, spikey-haired, spikey-eared agent who Kate personally introduced face first to a car window is a she. Go back and re-read Book 3. It’s a good time.
Really disappointed with the multiple “it was just a dream” scenes in a row. You write better than this.
