I’d keep my were’s on a leash as well.
I might consider keeping my were on a leash… IF that leash kept them at a distance. So, if it were more like a pole and less like a leash.
I am crunchy and good with ketchup, so I shall avoid the wuffs.
As long as you are defined as the “alpha” then you have nothing to worry about. Of course that only lasts as long as you are crafty and strong enough to defend the title constantly. At least you wouldn’t have to worry about getting bumped in a crowd….

These are similar words like ‘flammable’ & ‘inflammable’.

At seeing pictures like this, I often wonder what Kate and Luna would be talking about? Har care products? How to keep your coat nice and shiny? Boys? What’s the best way to get rid of that doggy breath in the morning?
I know I’m not the only one who wonders…

Only actual complaint I have about this art: dewclaws! Wolves in the wild typically don’t have dewclaws. They’re a liability, since they can get caught and ripped off and present a chance for infection. Some domestic dog breeds still have them. Germans Shepherds, for instance, actually do not.

Wolves in the wild also don’t have big toes, which is what the anatomical equivalent is. Since Kate transforms more into a hybrid form, I chose to let he keep all her fingers and toes, instead of having any re-absorbed during the metamorphosis.
I think I’ve brought this up before, too. I used to role play online with an artist who was a big stickler about the darn dewclaws. I think I adopted her prejudice. Then again, she wasn’t drawing shifters, just anthros; and your explanation toe-tally makes sense.
… Sorry, I had to. It was right there.
For now, Kate may be winning the dominance pissing match but I think once Luna comes into her own as an alpha the tides will turn and Kate will be in the submissive pose.
