Damn, that kid is RIPPED.

As always, your painting work is stellar.  However, I think there's a bit of disconnect between the simplified, almost anime-esque face and the hyper detailed muscles and body.  It's not bad, but it's a little odd.

Insanely pretty. I can't really offer anything more constructive. Sorry.

I'ma gonna hijack this thread, and make it all about showing off our latest works.

Here's mine:

Some of you may recognize it as the thing I was working on at the Urban Tea Lounge last Sunday.

It's Jane Irwin's clockwork faerie, Vogelein.  Jane's second book is coming out soon.  Do yourself a favor and go read her first one.  It's wonderful!</p>

Damn, that first image has awesome composition and contrast.

@Dirk:

I love the hair, but the proportions on the limbs seem a little off. I'm having trouble telling if it's the legs or the arms throwing me off... the arms seem to be doing it more. Regardless, I'm starting to feel really tired, so further thinking on it will likely hurt my brain.

Hey, something I've been working on.

Hey, do they look familiar? Maybe? No?

and

GOD, it took a while to get ANYTHING that looked right.

Sometimes it seems like I only draw things correctly by ACCIDENT.

Anyways, thoughts? These are just studies of the characters, which may just lead into something significantly cooler than a bunch of graphite smeared sketches...
