When I was a kid, I went on a handful of field trips with my school. We went to the zoo once or twice. The top panel on the most recent page catapulted me back to the first time I went into the Hall Of Lions or whatever they called it. I don't think they called it "The Cat House" (like "The Ape House") because duh. Anyway, now I want to go to the zoo again and check out how much of it has stayed the same versus how much of it has changed, and I normally don't like the zoo.

It's really awesome how distinct Chicago architecture is, and how accurately Dirk captures it.

Technically, it's the 'Rovler Lion House'.  I'm not sure if they call it something else inside, though.

Also, here's the photos I've used for reference so far:

Hey there Dirk, I like the comic. I found out about it from a book at the library called 'Toon Art', which was about web-media entertainment, and I'd like to say you sure beat Garfield creator Jim Davis when it comes to artistic talent and enigmatic storytelling.

Confused though now, is she actually a werewolf, or was it just a freaky dream? The stuff about large-cat prints just throws me off course.

At this point, it's been all but stated explicitly that she's got a bit of werewolf in her. That print isn't hers, though!

Interestingly enough, I think thats the same book *I* first saw Paradigm shift in. I didn't check it out from there, but when I later clicked on an interesting looking banner ad and read through a few pages, I realized what I was reading!

I think the same thing happened for "It's Walky" for me.

It should be noted that when the most recent attack occurred, the most likely suspect for that were-cat print was locked in jail.

So either Kate has done something she will regret later, or there's a third one running around...

Welcome, DJ!

Yup, I was featured in 'ToonART', and in 'Webcomics' as well.  They were some early victories, I guess.  Cool books.

Rest assured it will all make sense in the end.  That last page was a major shoe to drop.  There will only be more to come.  The only thing I can really say is... heh heh heh.

Maniacle cackling from a comic creator, who, by definition, are ALREADY insane, is either a good sign, or a very very BAD one. Wink

Ssssh, don't say that! Everyone knows that when you accuse someone who is insane of being so, they finally snap and go bananas.  Tongue
