Author's Notes:

Once again, I only had time for rough pencils this week. I finished up the first major project, which was the artwork for a card game (I’ll post some of that soon.) Next up is a six-week kitchen renovation which is going to keep me well outside of the studio for most of that time. I will attempt to get pencils done as I’m able, and post them when I can.

    I don’t mind the pencils. It’s interesting to see how it looks before being inked.

      Cash can be amazingly difficult to trace. If he didn’t mail order anything and went to different stores for each item, preferably in different cities, it would be amazingly difficult to track back to one person. It would be nearly impossible to conclusively say who that one person was even if you did notice a pattern.

        Where did he get the cash? Go back and re-read the story, something about them coming up on an arms deal where both sides of the other guys died and the money went home sewed into their kit. Or did you also miss the part where Kate found Mike’s go bag and the IDs and the untracable car? Have you been paying attention at all? I read 30 comics and I can keep track of the plot on this one, one of the reasons I love this one. Keep it up Dirk.

      that may be expensive stuff, but a lot of people own expensive computers (just ask a gamer ^^) so it is not really suspicious to buy one…

      entepreneur, spoken ‘on-teh-preh-noor’ or ‘on-tee-pree-noor’ depending on where you’re from in the US.

      Dirk, your pencil roughs are better than about a third of the finished comics on Spiderforest, so don’t feel bad!

    I really like seeing the evolution of the page through the stages of construction. I would be quite happy to see each page like this, even if it meant we saw them more slowly, provided it didn’t actually make more work for Dirk ;-)
