After giving it a LOT of thought, I have decided it’s best if PS returns in the New Year. I’m leaving town to spend Christmas with family in less than a week, and the kitchen needs my full attention until then. However, I’ll be returning fresh, and I have big thIngs planned to unfold in the coming months.
So, look for Kate & Mike to return to schedule Tuesday, January 1st 3rd. Thanks again for your patience!
Hey, folks. I know I owe you all an update. It’s been two weeks, and I’ve been working 12-14 hr days ever since. However, it shows!
Here’s how things look as of this morning:
It’s just me and father doing the work, so I’m really proud of how all this is turning out.
We should be finishing up this week, though we’re a few days behind schedule. I had hoped to have a week or so before the holidays to neatly wrap things up here on the site. However, it seems I may only have a day or so to do that before we leave town for Christmas. So, it looks like PS won’t be back to schedule until after the holidays. I’ll have a better idea on the details in a few days.

Apologies for the lack of updates last week. I was still immersed in the kitchen over the Thanksgiving holiday. Much left to do, though the biggest hurdles are now behind us. Cabinets are in, and countertop template has been made.

Next up is the floor, and built in hutch & pantry. If all goes well, perhaps I’ll get back to some drawing this week.
