M.I.C.E. 2017 – Oct. 21-22

M.I.C.E. 2017

I’ll be at M.I.C.E. next weekend, October 21-22nd, showcasing at table B68. I’m also running a workshop on Comics Storytelling and Pacing from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM on Saturday the 21st.

This is my favorite comics show of all time. It’s a great mix of friendly people, amazing creators, and a lovely location. Indy shows like this are my roots, and we’re spoiled to have this wonderful expo as our local small press convention in Boston.

Come by, say hello, and pick up copies of the PS Vol. 4 minicomics.

New Scene – News Flash (Part 2 of 2)

The time has arrived. The first new scene from PS4 Issue 4 is now live.

Thanks to Paper Asylum for hosting the launch event this afternoon. We had a number of guests visit the store during the signing and a good turnout for the workshop itself. The store even broadcast the event via Facebook Live. I very much enjoyed showing how I create the work, and it was great to have enthusiastic students there.

If you’re interested in learning more about the process behind making the comic, I’m starting up a weekly blog series on the subject.

My next appearance will be in two weeks at the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, October 21-22. I’ll be at table B68, and I’m looking forward to running a workshop on pacing and storytelling in comics there.

The next scene in the issue will go live here on November 6th.
