Anime Reactor

Yet another amazing weekend. Hung with Brion, BMAN, Studio AntiThesis, the ChiAnime gang, and loads of other folks. It’s all a blur, now. =)

Congrats to Maciek and Kim Smuga for the release of Build Your Own Boyfriend! It looks great!

Thanks again to John for organizing the ChiAnime rooms. You went above and beyond the call of duty. We owe you, man!

On the business end: Sold out of my Part Two minis, sold a bunch of Part Ones, and spent ALL WEEKEND drawing commissions — several of which I really, really wished I’d brought a scanner to capture.

Thanks to everybody who came by the table. You guys rock. I’m so sorry I ran out of Part Twos so short into the con. I promise I’ll be making more very, very soon. You’ll be able to buy a copy off the site as soon as I run them.

more soon!

P.S. I’m going to post a two-page update at the end of the week to tide you guys over. I’m running a little behind on the entire scene. I’ll add to it as I finish the rest of it up.

PS at Quimby's!

I dropped off 6 signed copies of PS Part One at Quimby’s Books in Chicago this afternoon. I’m finally starting to make the rounds of the comic shops here in town.

Next up is Chicago Comics….

Wow! What a weekend! Trekked up to St. Paul with Spike ‘n’ Matt and met up with The Marvelous Patric for Fallcon! We had a great time! Also met Maxxximum Madcap, who does the newspaper puzzle strip Fud4Thot, the always excellant Matt Feazell and a contingent of the Twin Cities’ own Cartoon Conspiracy, whom we did Exquisite Corpses and comics jams with on Saturday. The con staff was so friendly, and they even fed us–!! My sales were a little slow, but I still did well enough to pay for the weekend.

All in all, a great con. I’ll definitely be back next year.
